Latin Rhythms at the Square
Carnaval Latino 2018 it’s proud to announce that this year’s events will be held in two different venues. This year, the Latino celebration starts with Latin Rhythms at Washington Square in the Faubourg Marigny Historic District, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Latin music, folkloric groups, food, drink, and art take over the Square. (700 Elysian Fields Ave.) Admission: Free.
Desfile de las Américas (Parade of the Americas)
Then the Desfile de las Américas / Parade of the Americas. Admission: Free to watch; ride for $50-100.
Joy Theater New Orleans
Carnaval Latino post parade will be held at the Joy Theater (1200 Canal Street, New Orleans) with dance performances by Héctor Elpidio Acosta, better known as El Torito, performer of merengue, bolero and bachata music from Dominican Republic, Ballet Folklorico of South Texas College and more. Admission: $35.

Carnaval Latino festivities continue at House of Blues IS the ultimate night out. It’s where great food sets the stage for amazing live concerts.
